    About Us
Hello! We are a German couple, Nathalie (29) and Joshua (31) excited to take part in new experiences through Workaway. We're passionate about agriculture/ gardening, animal care and are eager to engage in meaningful cultural exchanges. We also see Workaway as a great opportunity to learn new languages and skills along the way.

    Our Skills
    • Joshua is a medical student with hands-on experience in the healthcare field. He grew up with horses, goats, dogs and cats and has a strong connection to animal care.
    • Nathalie is studying International Development and is skilled in crafts. She spent her youth as a Junior Ranger, volunteering in a wildlife park, giving her years of experience working with animals.

    Our Availability
We are available from November to the end of January, but this is open to discussion if a longer or shorter stay suits your needs. We are looking for a place where we can help with agricultural work and animal care, while also dedicating some time to working on our Doctoral and Master's theses. We are happy to contribute up to 15 hours per week per person (also open to discussion), and we’re very flexible regarding tasks and working hours.

    Language Skills
    • German: Fluent (both)
    • English: Fluent (both)
    • Spanish: Advanced (Nathalie)
    • French: Basic (Nathalie)

    Personal Info
We both love hiking, outdoor sports, cooking, riding, and we are huge animal lovers. We’re also experienced with gardening and animal care, especially Joshua with his background in horse care and Nathalie from her work in wildlife conservation.
We’ve also had various intercultural experiences: Joshua conducted research in Brazil, and Nathalie has completed Work & Travel in New Zealand and an Erasmus exchange in Spain. We are open-minded and adaptable, and always keen to immerse ourselves in new cultural environments and embrace different lifestyles.

We travel with our 10-year-old shepherd mix named Sigy, who is well-behaved and gets along wonderfully with both people and other dogs. While he's not a fan of cats and can be a bit unsure around other animals, we are experienced in managing these situations. We've spent plenty of time with friends and family who have animals, and it has always gone smoothly. We ensure that all animals have the space they need, and our dog doesn't cause any issues. We'd love to visit places with animals and are confident we can handle it responsibly.

We look forward to connecting with you!
