Description

For me, at this time, the connections I can create with the people I spend time with are very important, to share what I know, knowledge, doubts and among all of us to be able to find a middle point of support and help. It is the first time that I have traveled outside my country and it makes me very happy to know that there are many ways to understand life and the everyday, and traveling by volunteering is a good way to learn wherever I am.
Nature, local people, food, animals, and above all, mutual support are elements that I consider important in life. I am a native Zapotec from a small community in the south of Mexico, in the state of Oaxaca, where everything is done with the help of others. That is why I believe I am very familiar with teamwork and it encourages me to continue traveling and getting to know new spaces and people.

I can work with the land and animals, I grew up learning from my grandfather who was a farmer, planting corn, beans, pumpkins, tomatoes, adapting with the rain cycle in Mexico, but also most recently taking care of gardens in Cyprus: it is easy for me to adapt to the land and its needs.
I can also do any kind of manual work, I can help build wooden houses, clean the land, I have no difficulties doing any work that involves strength, and I can learn anything quickly.
I speak the indigenous language Zapotec and Spanish natively, and I have been learning English. I worked for a long time in a workshop making aluminum windows and doors, cutting glass and using power tools such as cutters, drills, jigsaws, screwdrivers, and any tools in general, so I can easily adapt to any job. I can fix doors and windows, as long as I have tools and if not, we find a way to solve problems, everything has a solution, except death. I can also provide my help in construction, prepare mixture to glue partitions, and what is needed in general. I am also a photographer and I can help with the taking and editing of photographs and videos.
I also have the ability to cook, I love cooking and sharing food.
I have a type B driver's license and can drive cars and trucks.

My favorite board games are Wingspan and Catan, and love learning new ones! I also love playing basketball and football- also love to watch games-, run and do other physical exercises.
