Hi!

My name is Johanne and I come from Copenhagen in Denmark. This summer I graduated from highschool and in the future I dream of becoming a paramedic. Therefore I'm right now taking a sabbatical year from studying to explore other places in Europe.

Travelling with workaway I hope to meet people in different countries and other travelers to share adventures, cultures and meals with.

I come from a social family of musicians and I'm used to be an active part of the houshold. That's probably why I love having good laugh, working or just being together with others.

Since I left Denmark in September I have done a Workaway stay close to the Pyrenees in France. Here I helped with gardening, painting, cleaning and cooking. Afterwards I went to Portugal where I helped organising festival. Right now I pick olives in the middle of Portugal. After this I don't know where to go yet, so perhaps your place is the next?:))

I am a very social person who enjoys working in a group. I am very thorough and don't mind neither hard work nor creative projects. Over the years I have worked as a babysitter and for the last year as a swim coach for young children, teenagers and adults. In addition I have had several waitressing jobs and worked for a year as a waiter and cleaner in a restaurant. Furthermore I have done a lot of voluntary NGO work with administration and organization in associations.

What else ...

I love to sing, play music and dance. Over the years I have been singing in a choir for 10 years and for the last three years I have been learning to play the accordion. Furthermore I love learning new things and have a lot of enthusiasm for working and interacting with other people. I hope to visit people who appreciate good food because that's something I really enjoy (doing) myself.
