Looking to take a break from the grind of my career. I have a Bachelor's degree in chemistry, but prefer to expand my horizons through nonprofit work and escaping my comfort zone. Most of my experience while travelling has been in disaster response and rebuilding damaged homes, but I also greatly enjoy supporting people with disabilities.

Wonderful experience. I was the only volunteer at the time and came during the rainy season (which is VERY rainy), but they still had plenty of work for me to do. I learned a lot about the local culture and landscape, as well as some traditional cooking. Reduane is a great language tutor, and the residents of the village were eager to meet me. Sand dunes are only a 5 minute walk away, and there are mountains in every direction. A good time if you enjoy some peace and quiet.
