Hi there! My name is Joel, I am from Munich, Germany.
I love hanging out with people, love music, especially German Rap and hip-hop,
football is a real passion of mine and I love working in hospitality jobs.

I completed my secondary education in Germany and then went on to pursue an apprenticeship as a car mechatronics technician and recently.
Since 2021, I have been working at my sister’s Italian restaurant in Portugal, serving customers. I have now joined Workaway because I am passionate about gaining new experiences and exploring new places.

I also help with maintenance work at home and in my grandfather’s garden.
If you need assistance with similar tasks, I can lend a hand :)

For me, it is all about gaining enriching moments and this year I want to start to explore this world and create beautiful memories with amazing people, that will last for life!

Back in Germany, I worked as a car mechatronics technician and in the summers I went to Portugal to help out in an italian restaurant in the Service, Since I am only 18 years old, I do not have much work experience. However, I am eager to learn and hardworking, adaptable, and have a friendly personality, making me the perfect fit for various tasks.
