Love hiking, running, mountain biking, swimming and bouldering in the outdoors. Enriched by experiencing new people and places having spent 4 years living in South East Asia. Love working with my hands and very quick to pick up new dexterous manual skills through years working as a chef and musician.

Very comfortable with physical labour having worked in warehouses, stage building/rigging for festivals, fruit picking/packing in NZ and general farmhand work in the UK including planting, weeding and spraying wheat and barley fields.

Lots of experience working with children as a language teacher, instrument tutor and music/movement therapist for young people with autism and additional needs.

Love animals of all kinds and have owned both dogs and cats.

What else ...

I’ve performed music at prestigious venues in the UK and for Vietnam’s foreign ambassador and the Nigerian royal family abroad. I can teach any kind of guitar at an intermediate level and acoustic fingerstyle to a very high level having played in everything from African high life bands to gypsy jazz quartets.
