With a love for reading, nature, and animals, we always like to learn new things. We both grew up around forests and fields and like to make music by singing or playing some instruments.

Hello there,
We are Jette, 18, and Merle, 19, two friends from rural Germany.
Last Summer, we finished highschool and now we want to take a break before going off to college. In this time we hope to get to know our world and its cultures a little better by traveling around europe.
We already got a wonderful glimpse of travel life when we went to India in september and traveled aorund France and Spain via the platform WWOOF from october to december. In this time we could gain some experience in working on a vineyard and gardening.
Inspired by a friend who had an incredible time with workaway, we decided to give it a try ourselves. Hearing about their adventures sparked our curiosity to try out other work-and-travel-platforms, and workaway seemed like the perfect option.
We’re excited about the chance to meet new people from diverse backgrounds, share experiences, and create lasting memories along the way.

Due to our previous experiences as WWOOFERs, we gained experiences in working on a vineyard and in gardening. We love to work with animals and have been supervising children before, e.g. as helpers in summer camps. We are familliar with various tasks in the house too and like to improve our cooking skills .
In our past WORKAWAY-experiences, we were able to gain some skills in simple building projects in the garden and taking care of big and small animals.
