Description
We are a family of four from the UK on an adventure across Brazil and Central America from July 23 to July 24.
This is our second year away travelling as a family. On our first trip we had several Workaway and WWOOFing experiences, and we found them to be the most rewarding parts of our trip. The work we got involved in varied, from planting, harvesting, weeding, building a wooden/mud staircase and outdoor shower, to electrics, working with a tractor and chainsaw, cleaning, beekeeping, and teaching English to young Sri Lankan children.
Jess is really practical, having worked as an electrician, and can do the basics in most other trades. Georgie is really organised, she used to work as a Personal Assistant and is now an Accountant, having changed careers after a few years at home looking after the children.

This will be our second year away travelling as a family. On our previous trip we found workaways to be the most rewarding experiences of our time away. We loved staying with local families and exploring parts of a country that you may not experience as a tourist.
We are flexible with the kind of help we can provide and like to get involved in a variety of tasks.
We are travelling as a family, two adults and two children aged 8 and 9.

We stayed with Marcos and his family for 2 weeks on their beautiful farm. Marcos and his family were very welcoming and gave us a lovely bungalow to stay in. We were so lucky to have Jess, Georgina and their children Dylan and Arto stay with us. I would recommend them certainly to other host. They did a lot of work for us and were asking to do more.
