  • More details about your skills

Jeremy is studying Environmental Studies at the University of Ottawa, although he has taken a break during online learning. In the meantime, Jeremy installs solar panels, a job that requires him to know a lot about tools, wiring, and occupational safety. Prior to working as an installer, Jeremy had worked in various skills and trades jobs such as manufacturing and organic farming. Jeremy has participated in other WorkAway and WOOFing opportunities in Australia and in Italy. Two years ago, he spent a year backpacking around Australia, Europe, and across Canada. He has an adventurous spirit, knows the value of hard work, and is genuinely a Jack of all trades. He is an incredible asset to any team and puts his heart into everything he does.

(Nicole) I am a recent graduate from the University of Guelph, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Bio-Resource Management with a major in Environmental Management. In university, I studied subjects such as biodiversity, ecology, biology, climate, and ecosystem change with a focus on the holistic system of ecosystem function relationships. In the future, I hope to work in ecosystem conservation and sustainable development in the developing world. I am overwhelmingly excited and humbled to have the chance to learn and contribute to worthwhile environmental projects.
