Jean-David :
I have a fair amount of manual skills. We built our own house in 2008 and have been doing other renovation projects along the years since then.
I worked on non profit farm that helped youth and adults that have work or social integration issues. I worked 4 years as employement consellor before becoming the general manager of that farm for 8 years. I completed a masters in psychosociology during those years. I am driven by everything that surrounds adult education and training. The farm produced for around 280 families with CSA so I have amount of knowledge and skills regarding market gardening, machinery and greenhouses. I can help with business and finances as well.
For the past two years, I have been working as a researcher and director of an applied research and social innovation center in Québec in relation with agriculture and agri food aspects.
Learning new languages is something I am pretty enthousiastic about. I can also teach french, english or spanish.
Fanny:
I am passionate about discoveries and projects. I am versatile and interested in several things. In my professional life, I am director of communications for a city. I have also in the past been a journalist and researcher. I have several skills in website management, writing and social media.
I am a person who loves to experiment and learn. I'm willing to help you with manual tasks, DIY projects, cooking or gardening. Jovial in nature, I'm really happy to have the chance to do projects overseas and meet new people.

We are a pretty active family and pratice a lot of sports (biking, hiking, running, skiing, bouldering, hockey, basketball, etc). We love to go camping and canoeing as well.
