    Hey You!

Gosh, not to be cheesy, but my lord you're looking quite charming today. I guess I should say thanks for stopping by my little bio! I suppose I'll tell you a little about myself. :) I am from the US, Alabama to be specific (Roll TIde), and after highschool I spent some time in the military; It wasn't long until I realized that those silly little fellas in the government are really just interested in keeping their chairs warm and their wallets stuffed. So I moved to Ecuador where I discovered a lovely community that really cared for and looked after each other. There I also discovered the beautiful world of permaculture. Seeing that with permaculture I can be the change I want to see in the world, I've been inspired to travel again and to learn more about permaculture and hopefully have an impact, however small, on the people and communities around me as I've seen in Ecuador. :)

  • More details about your skills

During my time with the U.S. Army I gained experience at practical skills such as: carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and heavy equipment operation. I wish I could say I am good at any of that, but I only know the basics at best.

  • What else ...

I love working with volunteer organizations! I spent half a year on a Habitat For Humanity crew and it was heartwarming working with people who's passion for the hard work came from the shaky and teary hugs when we handed over the keys to a family's new home. Permaculture has recently become my interest, and with that I hope to one day create projects like Habitat, where communities can build each other up with the fires of compassion yearning to pay forward.
