Description
Hi! We’re Jazz and Rowan, both 24 and currently based back in the UK after exploring Central and South America. We're working remotely and looking for opportunities to house sit, pet sit, and connect with people and places through meaningful exchanges.
We both graduated from the University of Leeds in History (Jazz) and Philosophy & Politics (Rowan), and we hold TEFL qualifications with a shared focus on English teaching and cultural exchange.
Jazz
Previously worked with an autism charity in Australia, with a strong passion for inclusivity and community engagement. She has hands-on experience house sitting and caring for dogs, cats, and chickens in Australia, and can provide references on request.
Rowan
Has experience working with young children (ages 2–5) and individuals with additional learning needs. Rowan thrives in creative, nurturing environments and brings energy and attentiveness to any setting.

We’re seeking hosts who value trust, communication, and cultural exchange. We're particularly interested in house and pet sitting opportunities and are comfortable caring for a range of animals—we’ve both grown up with cats and dogs.

We are very keen to improve our beginner Spanish and would love to be part of a cultural exchange. Hello, my name is Rowan. I have strong communication skills developed through working with young children, including working with children who have additional learning needs. I have utilised having a Teaching English as a Foreign language (TEFL) qualification, to teach English online. Additionally, I have further experience teaching English language conversation classes to refugees. This provided me with a unique experience of adapting lessons to diverse learning abilities. Furthermore, having worked as an au pair, I have developed a strong ability to connect with and care for others, including those of a younger age. I am eager to improve my beginner level of Spanish and immerse myself in new cultures.

I have experience working across the charity sector for major UK and Australian healthcare charities. I further have experience delivering English lessons as well as working directly with adults and children with a range of complex needs. I have strong references from house-sitting and pet-sitting in Australia, wherein I cared for 2 dogs, 3 cats and 7 chickens! I further enjoy creative and artistic endeavours, and love working alongside people to create something lovely.
