Hello world!

We are Jasmin and Caro, two girls from Switzerland travelling around the world on foot. In July 2021 we packed our backpacks and since then we have been hiking further and further towards the south-east.

Along the way, we seek adventure, contact with locals, enriching encounters, mutual exchange and work opportunities in every conceivable field.
As a painter/construction worker Caro is very skilled in handcrafts and creative work. Jasmin is a nutritionist, teacher and pilates/sports instructor.

We are actively committed to environmental and animal protection. Several years ago Caro worked for Greenpeace and Jasmin for Vierpfoten (Swiss animal welfare organization).
On our long walk we collect litter on roads and especially in nature. It is a drop in the bucket, but we want to do our best and contribute with small things to the preservation of the beauty of our world.

At home we cultivate a small vegetable-/herb-garden and we are passionate about cooking and baking.

Otherwise, we describe ourselves as good-humored, life-affirming, deep, philosophical, spiritual, faithful, hard-working girls with a big hunger for learning.

We spontaneously stayed with Kate and Gerard for two weeks to look after their 31 animals and the house while they flew to Europe.
The time with all the wonderful pets was eventful, touching and just beautiful. Within seconds the animals conquered our hearts.

Two amazing lovely ladies. I broke my arm whilst they were here. They really pitched in to take care of doggies. All the doggies got taken for a walk every day on the mountain. What was so impressive is they still took the doggies even if it was raining snowing or high cold winds and the doggies loved them.

We spent two month at Janets place and we really loved the stay. High over Budva near the forest and with an amazing view over the sea, in good company with two other workawayers, a warm hostess and wonderful dogs.
