Hei! I’m Jana, a 20-year-old law student from southern Germany, near Switzerland. I spent a trimester in Canada during grade 10 as part of an exchange program, and I loved the experience of meeting new people and exploring different cultures. I’m an active and positive person who enjoys cooking, baking, and staying fit through sports and outdoor activities.
I’m passionate about helping others and would love to assist with childcare, cooking, pet care, housework, or any tasks you might need help with. I have experience with kids (I adore them!) and animals (I had a dog growing up), and I’m always happy to pitch in wherever needed.
I’m a Christian following Jesus, and my faith is important to me, though I respect all religions and love learning about other cultures and beliefs. I’m excited to make meaningful connections, learn new things, and contribute in any way I can. I speak both German and English nearly fluently and am looking forward to bringing a little bit of my positive energy to your project!

I am very interested in learning more about Finland and experiencing its unique culture. The country’s beautiful landscapes, from its vast forests and lakes to the Northern Lights, fascinate me. I am also curious about the finish language which I really want to get to know.

I have a deep passion for cooking and baking, whether it’s making traditional German dishes or experimenting with new recipes. I love playing sports, especially tennis and soccer, and I can teach kids tennis or help with their homework. I also enjoy outdoor activities, including snowboarding (I just started last year) and a little bit of cross-country skiing, I have basic woodworking skills. I’ve looked after children, including a little host brother during my exchange program in Canada, and have volunteered at my church, helping with kids’ services and assisting elderly people at a nursing home. I speak a Berry little French from school. I enjoy connecting with people from different backgrounds and am always eager to help wherever I can.
