Hi everyone,

My name is Jakob, and I am a 20-year-old physics student from Vienna. I want to travel to Cape Town during my semester break and am currently looking for opportunities.

I would describe myself as a reliable, positive, organized, and hard-working person who is eager to learn and easily gets along with others.

For me, traveling is a way to take a break from my everyday life, get inspired, and gain new and unique experiences. It also helps me to put my own life into perspective.

In my free time, I enjoy doing sports, especially hiking and biking in summer and skiing in winter. As you can imagine, my home country Austria is perfect for that.

In addition, I am a hobbyist photographer and drone pilot, so I could assist with social media and content creation. In general, I am well-suited to help with just about anything IT related, but of course, I am open to other tasks as well.

After graduating from high school, I completed my civil service with the ambulance in Vienna, where I received training as a paramedic.

My professional background is mainly technology-oriented, largely shaped by my studies in physics and my previous summer job at an engineering company.

When it comes to my hobbies, I am enthusiastic about (aerial drone) photography, so I could help with social media and marketing. I also cook quite often, so assisting in the kitchen is also possible for me.

Apart from that, I am interested to work in a hostel reception, where I can actively engage with guests and provide check-in services.
