Description
Hey I'm Jack a fun mischievous sociable down to earth guy who enjoys spending time outside exploring, camping, hanging out with friends having good conversations and meeting new people.
I've feel very fortunate to of spent most of my 20's living in an awesome alternative communal house in Salisbury England called the Beard Shed. I travelled often and generally had an awesome time.
At the Beard Shed, we grew our own veggies, kept chickens and ducks, brewed plenty of beer and wine and played music often. We also hosted over 150 people from 50 different countries through Couchsurfing.
This Year (Summer 23) I will be returning to Sweden to reconnect with friends I've met along the way, Hike The High Cost Trail and to spend a few weeks close to Sollefteå meeting new people and exploring the area. I also intend on attending a festival or two, perhaps to work prior or during the festival as this is something I've done before.
My primary objective is to move to Sweden permanently, which has been my plan for several years now.Interests

What I can offer you, the host...
I've been a qualified Carpenter for about 14 years now. I use to build and renovate houses in England. My Parents would buy a piece of land and we would build a house or they would buy one that needed a refit and we would do that. Besides that, I've also worked a lot with friends on different projects small and large over the years. I also have a qualification in Design.
I've previously worked as a gardener for about 2 years and a painter and decorator for 2 years and have spent time working on a local organic fam harvesting vegetables, splitting fire wood using a tractor mounted log splitter and general carpentry work.
I also have some knowledge, interests and a good understanding of off grid systems and pinnacles including the following: growing and storing food, organic regenerative farming and permaculture methods, water storage and purification, solar and battery storage, wind and hydro, composting and soil health, growing using LED lighting, hydroponics and aquaponics, brewing, natural bee keeping (stewardship) log hive Sun Hive, vegan food & cooking, splitting fire wood.
Other things I can offer.
I can offer you my friendship, which would include respect and trust, support, openness and of course.. The good vibes!Age
