!Hello! My name is José Alfredo, but everyone calls me Joy.

I have completed my university studies in Sociology and Economics. Since I came of age, I have worked in various sectors such as a waiter, salesperson at a gardening and DIY store, lifeguard, team leader at Carrefour, and in after-sales services at Leroy Merlin.

I have decided that I want to experience the Workaway community and learn from new cultures, customs, and traditions. My interests are endless, whether it's exploring nature, trying local cuisine, engaging in meaningful conversations, listening to music, caring for animals, or learning languages… I'm ready for any adventure.

I want to collaborate, learn, and share my skills and knowledge while radiating with my energy. I am passionate about sports and engage in all kinds of sports activities because they relax me and bring me to life. I am very sociable and approachable, but I also value and respect individual space, and I hope for the same from others.

I have had the opportunity to travel through Argentina, where I experienced and lived many things in a culture different from my own. During my university years, I also lived in several cities in Spain, which has made me a calm and organized person. I have also traveled to some European cities such as Berlin, Prague, and Rome.

In summary, my constant curiosity drives me to be active in all aspects of life. That's why I have decided to live a Workaway experience to have a language immersion and improve my English skills while selflessly sharing my knowledge and abilities.

I have always been interested in learning English, although I have never found it easy. I have decided to embark on an adventure with total immersion to learn English. Being a global language, it is useful for everyday life. I want to surpass myself and learn this wonderful language, and I believe that Workaway is the perfect platform to achieve this by allowing me to immerse myself in new cultures and practice the language in a constant and practical way. Siempre he estado interesado en aprender inglés, aunque nunca me ha sido fácil. He decidido embarcarme en una aventura de inmersión total para aprender inglés. Siendo un idioma global, es útil para el día a día. Quiero superarme a mí mismo y aprender este maravilloso idioma, y creo que Workaway es la plataforma perfecta para lograrlo, permitiéndome sumergirme en nuevas culturas y practicar el idioma de manera constante y práctica.
