Hi everyone!

We’re Isidora and Bernardo from Chile.

Bernardo is an agronomist and Isidora is a teacher. We’ve had experience doing Workaway in New Zealand, Samoa, Spain, and Chile — and we absolutely love it! We’re passionate about self-sufficient, rural living and want to learn as much as we can about it.

Our goal is to experience and live different forms of self-sufficient lifestyles around the world, from various cultures and ways of life, as we continue shaping our own path. We’ve been traveling for two years now, and this journey has deepened our passion for organic farming, permaculture, gardening (from seed to harvest), food preservation, fermentation (kombucha, kefir, sourdough), and making natural soaps.

We’re also really interested in learning more about carpentry, natural building, animal care, dairy products, and beekeeping.

We’re a relaxed couple, living a peaceful lifestyle and spending as much time as possible in nature. We love working and living in the countryside. We know how hard and demanding it can be, but we believe the rewards are worth it.

As for our hobbies — and this is also where we want to focus our life — we enjoy being outdoors, whether it’s working in the garden, spending time with animals, building things, or preserving food. Self-sufficient living is both our hobby and our lifestyle.
We also love hiking, biking, surfing, and just being out in nature. We’d love to learn how to fish, and we’re always up for any outdoor activities!

Somos Isidora y Bernardo de Chile.
Bernardo es agrónomo e Isidora es profesora.
Tenemos experiencia haciendo Workaway en Nueva Zelanda, Samoa, España y Chile. ¡Nos encanta! Nos gusta la vida autosuficiente, de campo y queremos aprender todo lo posible de ella.
Nuestra meta es conocer y vivir distintas formas de vida autosuficiente a través del mundo, de distintas culturas y visiones de vida, con la idea de ir creando nuestro propio camino. Llevamos 2 años de viaje, los cuales nos han enseñado y formado nuestra pasión en la agricultura orgánica, permacultura, huerta (en todas sus etapas), preservación, conservación, fermentación (kombucha, kéfir, masa madre) y creación de jabones naturales. También nos encantaría tener la posibilidad de aprender sobre carpintería, bioconstrucción, cuidado de animales, productos de leche y abejas.
Somos una pareja relajada, con un estilo de vida tranquilo, que disfruta mucho el tiempo en la naturaleza.
Nos encanta el trabajo y vida de campo. Sabemos lo duro y difícil que puede llegar a ser, pero creemos que la recompensa es mayor.
En cuanto a nuestros hobbies, y es aquí donde queremos enfocarnos en nuestra vida, es pasar tiempo en la naturaleza, ya sea en la huerta, con los animales, construyendo, preservando alimentos, etc. La vida autosuficiente es nuestro hobbie y estilo de vida. También nos encanta hacer hiking, bicicleta, surf y estar en la naturaleza. Nos encantaría aprender a pescar, y cualquier deporte al aire libre siempre es bienvenido.

We are lovers of nature and the outdoors lifestyle .
We like horticultural work and we have experience. We have been working in the field for years, and every day we fall more in love with it.
We have worked in veggie gardens, with fruit trees, harvesting, picking, packing, making beds, soil preparation, planting, sowing, pruning, some animal care and general horticultural maintenance.
We know how hard it can be, but we are prepared for it.
We love this type of jobs and we would be very happy to share knowledge and learn more about it. (better if it´s related to organic, permaculture and syntropic ways).

Somos amantes de la naturaleza y la vida al aire libre.
Nos gusta el trabajo con hortalizas, frutales, y todo lo relacionado a la agricultura sustentable, sistemas biointensivos y permeacultura. Hemos trabajado en el campo durante años, y cada dias nos gusta más.
Tenemos experiencia trabajando en huertas biointensivas, arboles frutales, cosechando, sembrando, podando, algo de cuidado animal y trabajos agricolas en general.
Sabemos lo duro que es el trabajo, y estamos preparado para hacerlo.
Nos encanta este estilo de vida y estamos encantados con poner en practica nuestros conocimientos y por supuesto, seguir incrementándolos.
