Hey my name is Isabelle!

I want to see the world and create a life for myself that is more in line with my values. I want to explore different cultures and learn and grow as much as possible.

I am a friendly person who loves community life, meeting new people and their animal friends!
I believe in the kindness of people and listen to my intuition and follow the path of my heart.
I want to build a life that is in harmony with nature, surrounded by people who respect and are peaceful with each other and have a lot of fun!

I am honest and open-minded, helpful and a good team player, but I also like to work alone. My journey started a few years ago, since then I've been trying to step out of my comfort zone more and more to find where I feel most alive.

Since I love working with people, I would love to get more experience in a hostel/hotel or on retreats, guesthouses etc!

Cooking and baking: I have experience cooking for up to 20 people, I have worked in the kitchen and in catering. (my cakes were a highlight every time in my first workaway).

Cleaning: I would say I have an eye for it, having worked at the ashram on the Sattva team (which is responsible for cleaning the rooms and houses)

Checking out: I also have experience working at the cash register in stores

Gardening & carpentri: planting trees, building ponds, mounding and planting A-frame. I am also not new to typical gardening tasks such as planting (transplanting), weeding and harvesting.
Mural painting, renovation, and woodworking.

One of my favorite tasks is probably caring for animals. On my last workaway, which I was on twice, we (the volunteers) were in charge of the land - me mostly in charge of the animals (while the host was away for 5 weeks).

We also had a retreat where I helped with cooking and baking, organizing and wherever help was needed. In general, I always enjoy and am motivated to learn new skills and gain experience in many different areas of work.

In my free time I like to go for walks or hikes. I like to follow my inner voice and do yoga or meditate when I feel like it, I also like to sing and dance to express myself :-)
