I love all things nature and outdoors! This is my happy place. The sun, the moon, water, trees, fire!
I love adventure and am curious by nature, not knowing what is behind the next corner is the most fun.
I would love to live a life that has a symbiotic relationship between people and the earth, so permaculture farming is my ambition in life - and thus this endeavour on Workaway is to volunteer on such farms to learn from a diverse range of cultures/people, and hopefully implement the ideas/ concepts into my own life.
I also love the quiet, relaxed, community based environment around farms, and after spending 8 months working on farms in Queensland, Australia, I’m excited to get back to work and get my hands dirty!
Of specific note I spent 5 months living on a biodynamic farm that accelerated my interested in permaculture.
Meditating, stretching, reading, exercise, cooking, spending time with friends are all favourite past times for me, and I think that getting the chance to volunteer somewhere will allow me to facilitate those activities in a meaningful way :)).

I am also interested in learning different languages, and anything that helps the environment or communities!

I would love to learn any language that comes my way as I think it’s good to diversify yourself in many ways. I know a little bit of Spanish so more of that would be nice. But learning the language of the country I’m in is at the forefront to better be able to communicate with the locals.

I would say that I mostly specialise in farming labour!
I love to work hard and get my hands dirty.
In Australia, I have worked on 2 pineapples farms (4 months and 1 month respectively), a banana farm (4 months) and a biodynamic farm (5 months). Before this I also worked as a construction cleaner for 3 years so if anything needs to be cleaned, I am your man.

The farm work allowed me to learn more about fruits/vegetables and how they operate, also things like pruning, mulching and treating the produce and land with repsect.
I am a quick learner, with an high level of common sense and can do any task if shown how. Ive tried to become a basic home mechanic, so changing oil, fuel filters, oil filters, suspension, lights, feeding wire etc on my van. And would love to continue that if I could.
I love cooking so I believe I know my way around a knife and have developed useful cutting skills, along with making my own curry! I love curry.
I can drive a manual car and have driven tractors at the farms I worked on, also have gained some experience on mopeds here in south east Asia.
I am fluent in English and know a little bit of Spanish so I’d be happy to share English in return for a different language.
