Hi, I am Rebecca!

Nice to have this virtual introduction :)

I have been using this platform for several years and has given me some of the best experiences in my life. I have had the opportunity to work on an airbnb "farm" in Iceland (later returning to be head chef at their holistic festival), work at a permaculture farm in Italy, volunteer at an art hostel in Morroco, live with a yoga teacher in Turkey and design at a studio in India. Each experience has taught me something and enriched my life by being able to give back to the community. I call many of these people friends and now the world feels a lot more friendly and positive!

I now live in Oslo, Norway and am looking for community closer to what I call 'home'. I am a creative, planner and doer! I work freelance as a graphic designer for ethical businesses, and have other pursuits including photography and cooking. While living in Iceland last year I worked as a vegan chef at a restaurant and catered for several spiritual and holistic retreats and events.

I am enthusiastic about learning more about growing food, and aiming to be amongst the natural world more frequently.

It was lovely having Rebecca with us for about two weeks, she has been very helpful and reliable, we appreciated very much her autonomy and her active participation in different tasks we did in the garden. highly recommended!

If you had a chance to host Rebecca then you are so lucky. She provided us a great social media strategy, amazing content (I'm still using them:). Rebecca has a great taste of healthy food so she improved our menu with some amazing smoothie bowls. What a wonderful experience!

I cannot describe the amount of good vibes I got from staying at this magical hostel in Marrakech. If you are looking for a local experience of the city away from the tourist hubs this is the place. I hope to go back one day.

Rebecca is incredible. She truly cares about the work she does and her attention to detail is amazing.
If I ever need more graphic design work done (or photography), I would rather pay her than get another workaway.

It is a struggle to put into words how incredible it was to volunteer here. I now feel as though I have a family left behind in Iceland. I wish my stay could of been longer and I hope to visit in the future.

To volunteer here is to be surrounded by not only beautiful nature but beautiful open hearted people too.
