Hi. We'd like to introduce ourselves. We are Brian and Craig Hunter, twins, who have decided to make the most of our retirement years. Traveling, exploring, and having adventures for parts of every year seems like an incredibly good idea.
Brian: My wife and I just celebrated 41 years together, 28 with our daughter Amanda and 25 with our son Jonathan, both from Korea. I recently retired after 36 years with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, where I held a variety of positions including VP of Business Development. Brenda is a social worker supporting both elementary and high school students in the Central Tucson School District. With Brenda still doing what she loves, and the kids pursuing their own dreams, the idea of seeking out and sharing new experiences with Craig (after sharing so many adventures in the formative stages of our lives) is a perfect way to jump start our retirement years. For us the 'workaway' concept provides the opportunity to explore new places with the people whose lives really makes them special.
Craig: I retired 1 ½ years ago after 34 years as a school psychologist working with preschool children with special needs. The youngest of my 5 children graduated from college this past May in Philadelphia, has no plans to return to the Capital Region of upstate New York where I called home for 37 years, and so my presence is no longer needed there. My wife Debbie and I sold our houses last year and moved to Colorado Springs. Our tentative plan is to relocate every couple of years to another part of the world, to actually experience what it feels like to live in say, Australia, or Costa Rica, Tuscany, or _____ (we're open to suggestions) instead of just being tourists. Debbie is still working as a speech pathologist (bi-lingual), and while we plan on actively exploring the Rockies and the Northwestern parts of the US on her vacations, she is excited about my separate travels plans, either with my twin brother or without him. I was a ski bum here in Colorado back in 1975, and worked as a workaway deckhand on a ship that went around the world in 1978 (I have pieces of melted ballast of the HMS Bounty from a dive on Pitcairn Island), so I've always had the bug. We kayak, play tennis and mountain bike here in our new home town/base. While I would love the opportunity to return to the water to dive, snorkel, and windsurf, I'm am also ready to experience anything I haven't done before. Brian didn't get the same opportunities to travel before starting a family, so we are both very excited to add new chapters to our lives, together.
We have the experiences of two lifetimes to offer, and believe we will make any host family happy with the extraordinary step they’ve taken of inviting a couple of twins into their home.Languages spoken

More details about your skills
We clearly both love kids (and will go on about our own and their accomplishments/challenges if asked), we are exceptionally hard workers (Protestant work ethic or instilled from working at the family luncheonette/ice cream store at 16 and never stopping since) who aren't afraid to tackle any task. We have maintained our own homes for 30 plus years (Brian in the desert of Arizona, Craig in the Northeast USA), with all the carpentry, painting, landscape upkeep, and problem solving home ownership has required. Put us to work, share your home with us.
