I grew up near the Brecon Beacons, on the border of Wales. At home, I spent a lot of time helping outside: preparing the vegetable patch, clearing land, planting trees, cutting hedges, weeding, moving wood, and mowing.
Alongside my studies (politics and philosophy), I have had various hospitality jobs. I am comfortable in kitchens and working in a team.
I have also volunteered in schools in the UK, and in refugee shelters in Colombia.
