Description
For me, it is the people, not the places, that make memories. My preferred way of getting to know a place is by working and living there and immersing myself in the local lifestyle. Trying to live a life with my instinct and always go with the flow. I always count my blessings and never complain.

I graduated from UofT in December 2023. Initially, I just planned to take a 6-month gap to travel and meet people, but after 2 years, I am still enjoying working and traveling. I've worked and traveled in Kingston, Vancouver, Nova Scotia, Mattawa, Okanagan Valley, Anahim Lake, Salt Spring Island, Port Renfrew, Tofino, Niagara region, Thunder Bay and more to come. In the past 2 years of traveling, I have experienced some real Canadian lifestyles, met lots of amazing people from all over the world and gained valuable experience in the tourism business, like resorts/marina, vacation rental business, fly-in fishing lodge.

Being on the road for 2 years, I feel I have become a new person with a more complete soul and personality. I truly understand the power of "wanting nothing gives me everything". I have learned to fully see, accept, and believe in myself, and I am learning to give the same level of love and acceptance to others.

Helen stayed with us for about six weeks during the winter. She's such a kind and helpful person.
