Hello people.My name is Harjot. I hail from Punjab(my beautiful homeland) region in India.I came to Canada in 2016 to pursue my bachelor's degree at the University of Saskatchewan.It has been an awesome experience so far.

It is my childhood dream to travel to every country on Earth.I love to learn new languages and learn about new cultures.Travelling is something that makes me happy to the core of my heart.I think travelling enables people to interact with new people from various backgrounds and gives them the opportunity to talk and get rid of misconceptions we have of each other. I have travelled to a few cities in the US as well as I have been twice to Mexico.

In my free time, I like to go out with my friends to eat or watch a movie.I love swimming and whenever I see a water body(lakes), nothing can hold me back from jumping into it but, unfortunately, here in Canada the only time I can swim is the summer time.That is when the water is warm enough for me to dive in. In the summer of 2020, I did two of the best things in my life:Skydiving and Bungee jumping.

This is my first time using workaway and I think it is a great way to explore the World!!!

I am always ready to help. I would love to teach you my mother tongue Punjabi and also learn your language.I can help with cooking(although I am not a master chef!!!). I am an outdoorsy person do not mind getting dirty or wet. Infact, I love working out in the fields.
