Hello, I’m Hannah from the UK! I am currently in Japan on a working holiday visa. I arrived on 22 March 2025, and right now I am based in Osaka, doing a home stay and teaching English. I was actually born in Japan, as my parents were out here for 10 years teaching English, but we left when I was 6 months old and moved back to England. Now, I am back to explore this beautiful country and see where I spent the first few months of my life

More details about your skills
I have over 10 years worth of super diverse work and volunteering experience! Growing up, my parents ran a healthy meal delivery company, so from around the age of 11, I was frequently helping out in the kitchen and helping them pack deliveries. Throughout my teenage years, I worked multiple jobs alongside my studies - such as waitressing, working as a shop assistant in a sports shop, and tutoring English, Maths and Science. At the age of 17, I also went travelling and took part in volunteering in Costa Rica for four weeks. My volunteering consisted of planting trees and helping at a turtle conservation centre. During these years, I also volunteered as an ‘Isolation Befriender’ during the pandemic, where I would telephone and deliver shopping to vulnerable people who couldn’t leave their homes. Alongside university, I was a Support Worker for people with mental health issues and various disabilities, and then when I graduated, I was a Paralegal in Family Law and in Court of Protection Law.
My education history is that I graduated with a first-class Law degree in 2023, and I completed my TEFL certificate in November 2024. I only speak English unfortunately, but I am actively trying to learn Japanese.
I love to learn and am very flexible, so can very easily help out with tasks that you need me to! My other abilities include photography, gardening and keeping plants, and a bit of painting and decorating. I love creativity and am actively looking for more ways to do this.Age
