I'm 23 years old and have dreamed of meeting as many diverse people and animals and indulging myself in different cultures for as long as I can remember. After visiting Colombia right before the Covid pandemic I knew I wanted to return to the continent to discover more.

I love reading, cooking, dancing, and animals (although I might be allergic to some, and to others I might need an introduction first :P ). I am a vegetarian and care greatly for sustainable causes.

Besides that, I am extroverted, and I like to joke around but I am also willing to work hard and hope that I can give back as much as I will receive during my workaways.

More details about my language interests
Language is the way by which people communicate with one another, build relationships, and create a sense of community therefore I appreciate and see the importance of sharing and understanding each other through language. It is not the only means but I would love to teach English or Dutch to whoever wants to learn. I want to become fluent in Spanish (I only have a basic reading and listening level but speaking abilities are non-existent).

Through my international studies, and living in Portugal for two years, I am fluent in English which I would love to teach! I have basic knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese. I aim to become fluent in Spanish (one day).

Through various internships and my studies, I have learned to be a good communicator with an extroverted personality. I gained experience in project management and coordination. Preparation of presentations and use of PowerPoint. I'm experienced in working with multi-stakeholder groups. Administration tasks.

I have worked in restaurants and thrive in the chaos that is the hospitality business

I am keen to learn more about farming and plants. I own a few plants and my mom is a florist but a better understanding of the world of plants is still far away for me. I like to write and read as well so I would also be keen to learn or practice writing more.

I enjoy playing card games and doing sports.
But I also enjoy deep conversations, talking about the universe, world problems, or what brings others happiness.
Additionally, I am not averse to having a drink and parting once in a while :)
