I am not the most adventurous person in the world, but when I travel I would much rather experience a place through the eyes of a local; I believe that is a much more authentic way to discover a new location and that is why I am drawn to workaway. I am not shy when it comes to hard work and really do enjoy "working" in all the forms that it exists. Learning skills from others and sharing the skills that I have is a really great way to form community quickly.

As a North American, I don't have a lot of exposure to other languages beside English. I am very comfortable and capable of teaching English, whether it is to little children or adults. As for learning other languages, I would be very grateful to learn the basics in any language and grow from there.

I am a Licensed Educator and love being around kids. On top of that, I am also a Professional Land Surveyor, so I am great with computers, math and digging holes.
I am comfortable with power tools and have a little exposure to the basic trades (i.e. carpentry, plumbing, electrical)
Think of me as a Jack-of-all-trades, but a master of none.
