Hi! My name is Grace and I am determined to take full advantage of every opportunity I can to travel and learn from different people around the world. I am currently in my 2nd year of school at UCLA, and I am interesting in studying and pursuing a career in researching food/agricultural sustainability. My school doesn’t have a program specifically designated to that field, so I’m majoring in ecology and minoring in food studies with the goal of blending them into my own study of agroecology. I want to learn as much as I can about how to grow food and nurture ecosystems in a way that’s most in line with the world’s natural ecological processes. I’m particularly interested in permaculture and regenerative farming practices, but I really just want to learn as much as I can!

Besides that, I'm an ultra-extroverted person who loves to meet and interact with new people. I also love crafty things (I recently learned how to knit) and being active - I'm a frequent runner, swimmer, bikerC and hiking, and I also just got my yoga teacher certification.

I have lots of experience working with kids - I babysat since I was 12 and spent my summers working at a camp counselor. I also have experience as a lifeguard, so I am CPR trained. I also have lots of experience in the outdoors hiking, camping, rock climbing, etc. I don't have too much experience doing hands-on gardening and agricultural work, but I would really really love to learn.
