Hello there! My name is Gabrielle. I am a 23 year old Nurse & Yoga teacher from Ireland.
I am an adventurous, caring and social person. Along with English I speak proficient Spanish.

After finishing my university studies and working for a year I am excited to take some time to see some of the wonderful parts of Latin America. I am excited to do this whilst also having the opportunity to meet new people, share my skills and have experiences outside of the tourist trail with workaways. I hope to learn and experience the rich culture alive in Latin America.

Some of my Skills and Interests:
I have a passion for health and wellbeing; I am qualified as a nurse and yoga teacher and enjoy marrying both of these qualifications together to help bring better health and wellbeing to every kind population. I enjoy learning about health and the connection it has with the natural world around us.
I have experience in working in fast paced and demanding environments from both my training and work as a nurse but also my experience in hospitality; therefore I am excited by new challenges and working as part of a team.
I am a friendly and outgoing person, I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people from different cultures and sharing experiences, skills and stories. I have been fortunate to travel and experience different parts of the world solo and with friends from India to Morocco and places in Europe. I cannot wait to experience what Latin America has to offer.

I am a native English speaker and would be happy to help teach. I also speak some of my beautiful native language Irish. I have grown up learning spanish and making various trips solo to improve my level, I love the language and hope to improve my level while in latin america.

From my time working as a nurse I have gained very valuable skills of critical thinking and problem solving as part of a wider team. An integral part of my experience also included communication as a carer and as a responsible member of the healthcare team. From working in acute settings I have gained stamina for long shifts and time management. Through my work I am trained in CPR first aid etc.

Similarly working as a waitress for six months I have experience in hospitality from a local restaurant and a five star hotel. I am a people person and love working with people to make an energetic and fun atmosphere for guests.

Through teaching yoga I have gained great confidence in leading and supporting groups of people from young to old to experience yoga and its benefits for themselves. I am grateful for my teachings and feel excited and honored to get to share more yoga to many other people.

I have also had the opportunity to work as a child minder for varied periods of time with kids aging from 2-10 years old. I have a passion for working with kids and supporting families in any way I can.

Other skills;
I have always been an avid cook and enjoy experimenting with fresh produce. I have grown up alongside gardening and farms therefore am capable of looking after animals and tending to gardening/ general maintenance.

I am a very outdoors person who loves fresh air, hiking, being by or on the sea.
I love reading both non-fiction and fiction books. I enjoy being able to escape to new worlds and learn about my own world.
I am an openminded and curious person so I love having stimulating conversations with people from around the world.
