Hi there,

I'm a 28 y/o British female seeking adventure! I enjoy being in nature, writing and socialising. I'd consider myself an outgoing person although, I do enjoy time alone too.

I've been travelling across Australia and have had the best time however, I'm looking for new experiences on another continent.

I lived in Sierra Leone from the age of 11 - 15 and would love to revisit West and East Africa. It's been on my heart for a long while now and an opportunity has just opened up for me.

My parents were missionaries in Sierra Leone so I've become accustomed to the way of life and the needs that are so different to mine.

I currently work as a film producer in Sydney but I'm looking to gain experience as a filmmaker and to utilise my degree is Sociology. I'm passionate about people and learning about society and it's structures as well as writing for the screen and how the two can be married together.

I'm keen to learn! I don't mind getting stuck in with regenerative farming projects, teaching/education and community initiatives.

I'd love to generate ideas for charity funding in rural communities.

A BA Hons in Sociology and Film & TV studies - I've worked on a few small film & TV sets in my local area. I'm also a keen writer and have a Diploma in Freelance Journalism

My employment over the years have included events, catering and hospitality, supervisory roles working with children and I'm currently a workplace co-ordinator for Network Rail. My role includes general management of staff, maintenance and administration.

I've also had the pleasure of being welcomed into a community of lovely refugees as a volunteer. I taught English at a beginners level and socialised with people of all backgrounds.

I love cooking and keep a very (almost too) tidy house, much to my housemates' dismay.
My dad is a keen carpenter, I spent a lot of time in his workshop as a kid so I hope some of those skills rubbed off on me. I enjoy DIY and fixing things.

One of my silly hobbies includes making collages, I enjoy creative projects. I like to make macramé plant hangers and to paint too.
I also enjoy running and outdoor games! I'm a keen gameboard enthusiast and I never travel to a new hostel without my trusty pack of cards.
