Hi, I am Freya, a young traveler at the very beginning of her workaway journey. I have visited a few countries before, never like this though. But I love diving into new experiences and getting to know other cultures and people!
I am a German native speaker but I also speak English. I am looking for the opportunity to learn new languages on my travels, especially Italian!
Although I am not completely confident in speaking Italian yet I am looking forward to changing that!
I want to gain more experience in traveling, working and living in Italy!
I usually read, write and draw a lot. I am hardworking as well! I plan on going to university next year. This is why I want to see another country and meet new people and gain more overall knowledge for myself before taking this next step.
Other than that..I also love animals! I am honestly a bit more of a cat person but I like dogs as well! Oh, and I like running and hiking!

I have often helped my grandma with her garden and the Cameroon sheep. Therefore, I was able to gain more knowledge on gardening and taking care of animals. In the past years I was always part of turning the hay, mowing the lawn, harvesting the fruit and vegetables. Sometimes I helped with ploughing the small fields in my grandma’s garden and getting rid of weed. I love to bake and I can cook as well.
Otherwise, I am pretty good with kids and animals. I speak English and German fluently, my Italian skills are still very basic but I would love to have a language exchange!
