Hi, we are Francis & Noémie, nice to meet you!
We are two Canadians currently in a sabbatical year since July 2024. We are on the lookout for new experiences and different lifestyles. We are eager to connect with like-minded people and embark on transformative adventures.
Volunteering is for us a unique opportunity to learn new skills, connect genuinely with people, and get inspired for the future. We’re enthusiastic about the adventure and challenges that come with working with our hands and are committed to contributing positively to any project we join. We want to be part of the solution by having a minimalist life that includes sharing (ideas, knowledge, means of production), being more connected to nature, and embracing slow living.
Noémie has a background in management (read here: project management, process optimization, productivity, marketing, etc.) and a passion for yoga, good food, cycling, running, reading, embroidery, writing, plant care and sewing. Francis studied geography and worked in renewable energy. He enjoys brewing, kayaking, photography, rafting, animals, basketball among other interests.
Together, we are learning acroyoga, we love cooking and cleaning, solving problems creatively, taking care of chlidren and surrounding ourselves with good-energy people who see the positive side of life. We are avid readers, love learning, and enjoy playing outside or playing board games in our downtime.
Our friends and family say we're curious, proactive, resourceful, team-oriented, and reliable.
