Hi, I'm Florimond, 23 years old, currently studying engineering with a focus on urban engineering at Université de Technologie de Compiègne. For my last year, I've decided to take a break of about 4-5 months.

There are several reasons that motivated me to take this break from my studies. Firstly, I haven't had much opportunity to travel during my academic journey, and this break allows me to remedy that. I'm also interested in self-construction and eco-construction, as I believe it will be beneficial to my engineering field. I also want to change my lifestyle; being in engineering school, I feel like I have a very student-oriented and "festive" lifestyle. So, participating in Workaway programs is a motivating way for me to change my lifestyle.

As for my personality, I can be a bit shy at first, but I enjoy discussing people's life experiences. I like getting involved in projects, so I would be very happy to help you with your projects, and it will also provide me with a great learning experience.

Regarding my skills, I had the opportunity to engage in gardening during the lockdown. Granted, it wasn't a large area, but I managed to grow some vegetables and repair the electrical system of a greenhouse.

Since I've been in engineering school, I've acquired various skills. For instance, I've learned to brew beer, and I would love to further develop such skills by learning to make cheese, wine, or any other form of food production during my Workaway experiences.

I'm not a master chef, but I do enjoy cooking from time to time. Thus, I could assist you with these tasks, and I would be delighted to learn new recipes.

Of course, I'm also capable of performing physical tasks to be of help in your projects.
