Description
Hello everyone! I’m Filippo Egenter, I'm 28 years old, born and raised in a small town between two lakes, nestled in the middle of the Dolomites of northern Italy.
I completed five years of high school, spending my fourth year in Iowa, USA. This experience was incredibly formative, challenging, and exciting, sparking a deep interest in Europe, the European Union, and international affairs.
This interest led me to enroll in the 3-year degree program in European and International Studies in Trento immediately after high school. This academic journey deepened my appreciation for the European project, recognizing the immense value of a borderless Europe.
Following my bachelor’s degree, I completed my education with two additional years in marketing and international trade, supplemented by a couple of internships.
After a couple of years of working in an office, I felt an urgency to reconnect with nature and pursue a passion that I had been cultivating for a few years already: fishing and nature photography.
The union between photography and fishing was born when, together with five other friends, we founded Water Whisperers, our catch and release fishing blog in Trentino (northern Italy).
My aspiration now is to travel through the Nordics where nature is a constant element and fishing a more deeply rooted and present philosophy. I can’t lie, it was a difficult decision to leave behind the beautiful Dolomites where I had spent countless hours exploring mountains and small creeks, but the call to escape my comfort zone and my familiar surroundings to discover new horizons was too strong to leave it in the drawer.Interests

More details about your skills
During high school I spent a few weeks in a nursing home in close contact with the elderly trying to make their days lighter and more fun. I have always been very close to my grandparents and this allowed me to experience these internship periods to the fullest.
Mainly before starting to work but still today when he needs it, I help my grandfather with the maintenance and cleaning of a couple of houses in town. Cutting the grass, raking the gardens, repainting railings and gates are some of the activities I have dealt with and which, sometimes, I still do today.
At home, together with my parents and grandparents, we grow a vegetable garden with tomatoes, zucchini, salad, cucumbers and other vegetables which needs gardening and classic maintenance work.
I am passionate about photography and in particular fishing and nature photography.
In the past few years I created an online blog about fishing in Trentino Alto Adige (my region) together with some friends and now I run my own one related to fishing photography.
I speak fluent English and my native language is Italian, which I am happy to teach (it is not the easiest language to learn, but with good will anything is possible).
In the past I worked for a few years in a bookstore, I can relate very well, I am open to any dialogue.Age
