  • Description

Hello! My name is Fin. I have just finished my first year of medical school and I am now looking for workaways where I can practice my french over summer.

Last year I spent five months living in France so I could improve the fluency of my French, which has been a lifelong goal of mine. Now, I would like to take every opportunity to practice so I won't forget what I have learnt. My ideal future is to work as a doctor with humanitarian projects and on expeditions and I hope that with the ability to speak a second language will one day help me make this a reality.

I am from a small town in central Scotland, where there are mountains within walking distance. In my spare time I like to take advantage of this and love spending my days mountain biking, hiking, camping, climbing, or skiing if it snows enough in winter.
I am a practical person and am usually able to turn my hand to most things if I’m shown what to do. I am happy to look after older children and pets, help with housework, gardening, cooking, DIY and manual work. I have particularly enjoyed helping with gardening at workdays in the past. I have a large family and I am an outgoing and sociable person so I would like spending time to get to know new people.

I am looking forward to meeting you!
