  • Description

My name is Eva. I am open-minded, helpful, and friendly. I love communicating, traveling, immersing in different cultures, illustrating, and writing.

By profession, I am a language teacher but I have learned art therapy and psychology as well. What brings me joy is learning about cultures, helping people, and being in nature.

What I love about communication is that language is one thing and being socially sensitive and attentive a different one. When both are combined it is a brilliant thing and I cherish it.

I love animals for they can provide unconditionally positive vibes and teach me a lot about myself. I am a practical person and a dreamer too- both qualities are needed for balance. I like working with other people for it’s a brilliant feeling to see what we have achieved together. Naturally, taking on responsibility and completing my tasks individually goes without saying.

By nationality, I’m Hungarian and presently live in Budapest, Hungary. This is a small central European country in the Carpathian basin with a rich culture and turbulent history. It has friendly people and very nice sights.

I believe life should be lived as an adventure shared with others in a positive, helping way:)

More details about my language interests
I am passionate about communication and helping people to learn a new language. Learning and teaching a language ( or any other skill ) are two sides of the same coin. We learn from each other constantly and these experiences are immensely valuable. I have learnt with /taught people who came from very different walks of life. Some of them occupied leading positions in multinational companies, others were artists, entrepreneurs, professional athletes, people with hearing and speaking disabilities, car mechanics, engineers, and programmers. They required different attitudes and approaches but being flexible and respectful is always the bases to start from. I am aware of learning challenges along the way for I have learnt Serbian, Croatian, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Japanese. I feel that being open to learning a new language is an exciting skill I possess. Age-wise I have worked with students from the age of 9 up to 70-year-old adults. Scope wise I have led courses focusing on various language – exams ( eg: FCE, EFC, TOEFL ) communication, and Business English. Preparations for interviews and presentations also had a special emphasis. Training sessions on Presentation and Negotiation were also interesting, useful, and enjoyable. Levels of teaching vary from elementary to proficiency levels. When learning with children we create stories, draw a lot, listen to songs from cartoons and play. The trait of learning being fun and a game is the most important and I incorporate it into adult lessons as well. Being an open-minded, creative and culturally sensitive person plays an important role in establishing the right rapport with the people I work with.
