Description
Hello there ,
I am bachelor graduate from Germany. My major was Film Studies with minors in Sociology and Communication Studies. I've graduated last year and now I'm ready to travel the world. :)
During my time at university I've spent six months in Scotland teaching German to university students and at a local high school. But that is by far not the only time I have spent abroad. I've travelled a lot ever since I was young. I was in the German National Sailing Team, which is why I have travelled pretty much all over Europe. Visiting all these different countries, interacting with people who speak different languages and have different cultures has inspired me to continue travelling during my university years.
I've been to Thailand and Laos with the voluteer organisation GIVE. It was so much fun and so inspiring to learn about the local lifestyle, organic farming and to be teaching English to children and adults.
Apart from sailing, I just love being active and doing outdoor sports. I also enjoy spending time with the people around me. Back here in Germany, I am a volunteer for UNICEF and try to fight for more rights for children.
I am a very reliable and responsible person. I am great at organising things and get along with people of all ages. I don't miss any opportunity to learn something new and to immerse myself in new experiences.Interests

I have taught English and German before and I believe it is a great way to help people. I have taught German at a university and at a high school in Scotaland. I have taught English to my younger siblings and to children and adults in Laos and Thailand whilst I was travelling with GIVE. I grew up learning different languages and believe it has helped me in many ways. Everybody deserves the chance to learn languages and open doors to new opportunities for them. I believe that learning should be fun and interesting and not just about memorizing a text book. There are a lot of ways to teach whilst keeping the motivation high :) I am very confident in teaching English and German to children, teenagers and adults of all ages.Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn

I have experience of working on small farms, teaching English and working in customer service, so I'm a real people person! I've taught German at a university and have also taught English before.
I'm used to looking after younger children and helping them with various schoolwork.
I used to be a national athlete, so I'm athletic and hard work isn't really a problem for me.
I'm a very quick learner and love to learn new things. I am a reliable and responsible person. I adapt easily to new environments and cultural norms.
During my time at university I tried to learn more than just the curriculum. I have learned Korean and Japanese at beginner level and have refreshed my French.Age
