Hi! I’m Eva, an Australian adventurer and passionate professional with a love for travel and learning.
Growing up, I moved between different towns in Australia, which sparked my lifelong desire to explore new places. This wanderlust has taken me to Europe, the UK, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, Central America and many beautiful parts of Australia. I’m always planning my next adventure and dream of discovering even more of the world.
My career has been just as varied as my travels! I have worked across many industries, from hospitality to tour guiding, and with a wide range of animals. I’ve been a tour guide in iconic locations like Victoria, and Uluru, Australia, and Canada, sharing the rich landscapes and history with people from around the world. My time as a guide in these stunning regions was not just about showing the sights but connecting with diverse people and learning from their perspectives.
I’m also passionate about animals, particularly horses and camels. From working as a stable manager at Spring Creek Equine to leading camel tours at Uluru, I’ve had the opportunity to care for and interact with animals in meaningful ways. These experiences taught me the value of patience, empathy, and teamwork. As a stable manager, I supervised horse care and rehabilitation, while also handling the daily operations of the barn, from medical care to organizing competitions. The joy of working with animals and ensuring their well-being is truly one of the most rewarding parts of my career.
I’ve had the chance to further develop my skills in various roles, such as a trip manager and driver-guide for Go West Tours in Australia and as a housekeeper supervisor at Sun Peaks Grand Hotel in Canada. I enjoy being part of a team and working in dynamic environments, whether I’m organizing logistics, giving informative commentary on local history and culture, or problem-solving on the go.
Ultimately, I thrive in environments that challenge me to learn, grow, and share knowledge. I find great satisfaction in helping others discover new places, whether that’s through guiding, customer service, or working with animals. With a deep appreciation for nature, animals, and cultural exchange, I’m always looking for new opportunities to broaden my horizons and contribute my skills.
When I’m not guiding or working with animals, I enjoy honing my knowledge in equine management, keeping up with my certifications (like first aid, RSA, and interpretive guide certifications), and learning new technologies. I’m driven by a desire to help people and animals, while embracing the endless opportunities to learn and teach along the way.Interests
