Hello, my name is Kaon Nabetani. Currently, I am a senior at university, but I have taken a year off from my studies. My major is in international understanding, which encourages me to explore new cultures and meet diverse people. My ultimate goal is to become an English teacher in my hometown, where I can contribute to a community that has nurtured me with love and support. During this gap year, I aim to gain firsthand experience by living among local communities and honing my ability to perceive things from different perspectives. I work as an online Japanese tutor, teaching students from various countries using English as the medium. It brings me great joy to share the Japanese language and culture with anyone interested."


◎cooking simple dishes
My mother owns a cafe which serves healthy "Washoku (japanese dishes)" with brown rice, using local ingredients. I helped her for a year and learned how to make simple but delicious washoku.

◎physical strength
Where I grew up is very rural area with mountains, and I enjoyed physical activities since when I was a small kid, so I have a confident about my physical strength. I want to help anything including manual labor.

One of my interests is dancing. It has been seven years since I started learning street dance. My favorite genre is called "Lock Dance". I believe that dance can be a tool to open our hearts to each other, so I would like to continue to dance wherever I go, and also I want to try any sorts of traditional dance as well.
