Our next destination:
New Zealand - from Feb 2025 until Feb 2026 View allDescription
We’re a respectful, easygoing couple currently travelling around New Zealand, looking to contribute meaningfully as we explore. I’m a trained tree surgeon with experience in outdoor, hands-on work, and my partner works in early years education, bringing patience and a calm, nurturing vibe.
We’re quiet, tidy, and happy to get stuck in—whether it’s helping in the garden, with maintenance, or around the house. What brings us joy is working hard, learning new skills, and connecting with good people along the way. We’re grateful for the chance to share our energy in exchange for a warm meal, a roof over our heads, and a new experience.Interests

More details about your skills
Between the two of us, we bring a solid mix of practical skills, a strong work ethic, and a can-do attitude.
I’m a qualified tree surgeon with years of experience in both residential and commercial settings. I’m confident using chainsaws, climbing gear, and rigging systems, and have done everything from pruning and removals to storm clean-ups and hedge work. I’m also handy with landscaping, fencing, firewood prep, and general property maintenance.
My partner works in early years education and has a natural way with young children—patient, creative, and dependable. She’s also great with household tasks, cooking, keeping spaces tidy, and creating a calm, organised atmosphere.
We’re both respectful, adaptable, and not afraid of hard work—happy to help with gardening, painting, cleaning, animal care, or whatever else needs doing. We work well independently or as a team and always aim to leave things better than we found them.Age

What else ...
Outside of work, we enjoy the simple things: hiking, swimming, kayaking, reading, and spending time outdoors. We’re both nature lovers and enjoy exploring New Zealand’s incredible landscapes—whether it’s a forest trail, a quiet beach, or a mountain view with a cup of tea in hand.
We’re also big fans of board games—Monopoly, Uno, and any new games people throw our way (we’re quick learners, though Monopoly can get competitive—consider yourself warned). We enjoy a good laugh, a bit of friendly rivalry, and the occasional game night to wind down.
We’re curious by nature and love picking up new skills, whether it’s something hands-on, practical, or just a new way of doing things. We appreciate meaningful conversations, sharing meals, and finding those little moments that make life on the road feel like home. Some more information
