Hi Workaway!
I’m Ester, a 19-year-old from Bratislava, Slovakia, currently on a working holiday in Japan, looking to discover everything Japan has to offer. From the language to the culture, from the big cities to the small villages.
I have always been passionate about cultural exchange, and spending a year abroad during school helped me develop independence, adaptability, and a love for travel.

With 3 years of customer service experience in restaurant as a cook/waitress and 4 years of organizing activities for children at summer camps, I’ve mastered my communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
I’m reliable, hardworking, and enjoy helping others, whether it’s through teaching, childcare, or practical tasks around the house or garden.
I am open to learning new skills needed and learning as we go.

I have also helped as a cook at the restaurant.
