Description
Two friends who love each other. Have for years dreamed of living and travelling Canada together. Have completed that journey and are now hoping for new adventures .
Esbern - I am a travelling chef for the last 6 years - living in California, Denmark, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand and now Canada! I'm on workaway because I find it the most pure form of travelling - be welcomed into a foreign home, learning\sharing culture.
Esbern - I have 4 workaways under my belt (Buddist monestary in china, small goat farm in Poland, coffee plantation in Nicaragua, art residency in Texas). Note: plus 3 more on Cortes island Canada, Pelly River Yukon, Trapper Creek Alaska
Esbern's - My end goal is to set up my own self sustaining lifestyle property where I can host my own workaways. Creating a place of healing for the massive mental health crisis we have in the modern world.
Zander/Flanders - I have just finished a 2 year working holiday in Canada and am now spending some time travelling the USA as a visitor. The past 3 weeks I have spent bike packing from Vancouver Canada, through Seattle, to the Gorge Amphitheatre for a concert.
Zander/Flanders - I have done a few workaways with Esbern last summer when we travelled through BC, the Yukon and Alaska.
Zander/Flanders - I really enjoy and value working in a variety of different jobs in different places. I like the idea of becoming a 'Jack of all trades,' using knowledge gathered from an assortment of roles so I can understand and overcome any challenge presented to me.

I (Esbern) have worked has 9 years of professional cooking experience. I love cooking and tend to lean towards cooking and food preparation to assist the hosts. However I am very handy\strong and always keen to upskill\get my hands dirty.
I (Flanders) am a spatial (landscape, architecture, interior, graphic) designer. I have painting and carpentry experience. However I am very handy/strong and always keen to upskill/get my hands dirty.

Esbern loves hiking, yoga and cycling. Also ocean obsessed - surfing, kayaking, diving, fishing, can't get enough of it.
Flanders is an experienced snowboarder, hiker, bike packer, carpenter, drummer, music lover and boardgames enthusiast.
