Hello! My name is Eric and I'm 33 years old. I am Spanish from Barcelona, but I've been living in Berlin (Germany) the las 10 years. I studied to be an English teacher in Barcelona, California and Berlin. I worked as an English teacher while doing my studies and then when I moved to Berlin I continued working as a English teacher plus also Spanish. Mostly I was teaching little kids (2-7) but I also have experience teaching teenagers and adults. As I loved kids too much I decided to work in a Trilingual Kindergarden (Spanish/English/German) with very little kids (1-3) and I really loved them!! I worked there for 3 years, until I decided to do a little change in my career and I became flight attendant. I worked as a flight attendant for almost 5 years, and although it is completely different as working with kids I must say i really liked it. I like to interact with people of different cultures and backgrounds and meet hundreds of people everyday!!! Corona came and the flight industry went to a stop so I went back to teaching.
I worked as a TA in an international school and as afternoon programme coordinator.
In September 2021 i got my CELTA certification to complement and widen my scope of teaching, so now I am qualified to teach from little kids to adults.
In 2021 I took some time off and went to the Dominican Republic for 4 months and did a workaway there in a little bilingual school, where I was teaching English.

In 2019 I did 5 weeks of workaway in Bangkok teaching kids English through drama lessons and also giving ECA in international schools around BKK. I liked so much that country and that city that in 2022 I came back again and did a workaway at the same place for 3 months! I just love it.

September 2022 I moved to the Dominican Republic to the school where I did the workaway and got offered a job there as the English Teacher and the deputy manager of the school. I worked there until November 2023.

Now I am taking some time off and travelling around South East Asia. I would like to finish my travels with another workaway!

This time I am not sure where to go, but I am looking at different countries to finish deciding where to go.... Probably I will be available from beginning of April until May, as there I might need to come back to Germany for some papework... but still not 100 per cent sure about it.

As said, I love kids and teaching so I am basically looking for a little job where I can teach English or take care of kids and discover the way Thai or oder countries schools/childcare days or centers work and learn a lot from it!
