Description
Hello! We are two sisters from the United States. After graduating high school, we both fell in love with travelling and exploring, and have spent the past couple of years all over the world to experience new people and cultures. We are both fairly well traveled within the United States, and have also both branched out internationally.
Emma graduated high school in 2020, after which she took a gap year to travel. During this time, she completed a few workaways, and absolutely loved the people and places she experienced along the way. She is now studying architecture in university, and travelling whenever she has the time (and funds!).
Julia graduated in 2021. Unsure of what she wanted to do next, she started doing seasonal jobs at various national parks and resorts. From there, she embarked on a four month trip backpacking around Southeast Asia, before settling in Australia for a year to work.
We are reuniting in Europe this summer for the first time in a year. After spending some time together, we wanted to find a workaway where we could both contribute and participate, to further enrich our time in Europe.

More details about your skills
We love painting, whether it’s canvasses or walls, and have a lot of experience doing both. Additionally, we each have spent several years working in restaurants and kitchens, and Emma especially can somewhat cook, which she enjoys. Our family used to have a little veggie garden and did a farmshare at a local farm. Emma did a workaway taking care of animals and gardening, and Julia worked for four months on a melon and pepper farm in Australia.
Growing up, our mom had a Montessori preschool she ran out of our house. We both grew up around kids, and when we were old enough, babysitting and summer camps became our first jobs. We love being around kids, and like to think we have fun together.
We are hardworking people, and always willing to try new tasks and get our hands dirty!
