I spend most of my time in the city, so I'm really interested in doing outdoor activities, preferably in nature, whether it's gardening, environmental work or restoration and building tasks.

Hello! I'm Emma :)

I live in a small city near Barcelona and I find myself with some free time on my hands so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try out Workaway!

To introduce myself a little bit, these are some of the things I enjoy when I'm not working. There are quite a lot of things that bring me joy. I love sewing, painting (just in a playful non-professional way), hiking, swimming, reading, watching random youtube content, doing sudokus... These are all the things I would do if I had endless free time haha ;)
I also really enjoy watching movies and documentaries, going to the theatre or to the circus. A love cultural activities in general, aside from museums maybe, I struggle with those.
I'm a very homey person as well so I love spending time with my family, chatting or just sharing the same space while each of us does their own things.

And aside from all of these, I'm always open to finding new interests, trying new things and expanding on the list. I sometimes overwhelm myself because of this, so I try not to put pressure on myself to do everything, but getting out of my comfort zone once in a while is always super gratifying :)

Which is why I've come to the Workaway community! In hopes of finding something new and exciting to do for a few weeks, hopefully be of service in some way and disconnect a bit before going back to a routine. I truly love being able to help in any way that I can, so feel free to ask any questions you might have :)

My everyday job is working as a tour guide doing theatrical visits, which means I'm very good at public speaking, entertainment and improvising. I'd also say I'm very good at last minute changes and adapting myself to new circumstances.
I'm also currently learning to sew. I have a beginners level but I absolutely love it and I'm constantly learning more.
I have some experience with plants since I worked as a florist a while back. I haven't done much related to nature in a while but it's something that I love and I think I can be good at it so I'd love to learn more.
I'm a very neat person so anything related to cleaning or organizing I can do as well. And I don't have experience on it but I'm quite handy so I'd also be able to do basic stuff related to repairing or craftsmanship.

What else ...

I like exercising but I find it hard to be consistent, so I always love any opportunity to be outside and use my body. If I'm exercising without realizing I'm doing it, that's when I enjoy it the most.
