Description

We are touring Canada on a working-holiday visa for 1 year and are looking forward to experiencing all the provinces. We have previously visited the West of Canada for a few months including the beautiful Rocky Mountains and have returned for more!

From June 2024 we will be living in our camper throughout summer and autumn as we drive from Nova Scotia to British Columbia. We will have the use of the car throughout our stay in Canada.

We hope to 'Workaway' along the way to experience local culture, learn new skills and meet like-minded people :)

We are seasoned travellers having toured the world for over 2 years so we are very adaptable to new environments and meeting new people. We enjoy touring in our 4x4 and roof tent for the freedom to follow any road.

Before we quit our jobs to travel the world, Emma worked as Project Manager for a charity that helps older people supporting grant projects to reduce homelessness and support people with dementia. Matt worked as a Software Engineer using data to improve systems.

We have also worked in shops, pubs, restaurants and at weddings for a combined total of over 10 years.

We also have experience of looking after a wide range of animals, gardens and house sitting, for example, through the Trusted Housesitter platform. Emma can ride horses and has been a yard hand before.
