Hi, I'm Emily. I'm currently planning my backpacking trip to New Zealand and Australia. I hope to see as much as possible from both countries and I can't wait to get started!

More details about my language interests
I'm from Austria, which means that German is my mother language, so I could totally teach it, if someone's interested. Furthermore I've had English lessons since I was six years old, so I would say I'm pretty fluent. Technically speaking, I understand Spanish, but my vocabulary is severly lacking. Also, I had Russian lessons for the past three years, but I remember next to nothing. I'm interested in learning basically every language, it's one of my big interests. I feel rather confident teaching German or English and maybe really basic Spanish.

-cooking and baking: definitely a passion of mine, I am able to cook vegan or vegetarian meals if necessary
-looking after kids: babysitting (all ages), tutoring (english and german lessons), I worked in a gymnastics club for children aged 3-10 for the last two years, helped in summer camp for the last three years (24/7 workdays and planning activities)
-looking after pets: cats and dogs mostly (walked dogs of relatives a few times, "babysitted" a puppy, looked after my friend's cat (my parents also have a cat which I grew up with)), but I've also looked after bunnies and hamsters before, technically I'm very experienced with horses (but it's been a few years)
-creative things: attended art lessons for a few years, under instruction I would say I could build some things out of wood, I don't have a green thumb, but again with instructions I can totally manage to keep plants alive

My interests in general are pretty broad, I tried quite a few hobbies over the last few years and I'm not afraid to try new things!
What's almost always a "yes" for me, is anything that has to do with animals. I love cats, dogs, anything that swims in the sea, birds....
