Hello!

I am a 24-year-old Canadian travelling Australia before returning home to start my Master’s in September. I studied environmental science with a special interest in marine environments and am also very passionate about sustainability and sustainable food systems. I am happiest outdoors, getting to experience new environments and be in nature as well having a sense of community. I am friendly and love meeting new people but also a calm person and value my alone / recharge time. I love hiking, surfing, rock climbing, yoga, guitar and piano, gardening and cooking! I am very eager to spend some time in a remote marine environment surrounded by nature, specifically somewhere on the Great Barrier Reef or Whitsunday region.

I have experience house sitting, working as a camp counsellor leading kids in outdoor and indoor activities, and many years of babysitting experience for all ages. I have a valid First Aid certificate and am a competent swimmer. I also have experience gardening, landscaping and tree planting.
