Description
My name is Emilie and I am 24. My family includes my father who is a joiner, my mother who is a teacher, my 21-year-old sister and my 14-year-old brother.
I live in a small country village. We regulary play board games and go hiking.
I studied for three years in industry. I learned about packaging and plastics processing and I have already worked in various companies.
Last year I went to Ireland for seven months to discover the country and improve my English. It is been an incredible experience, not least because of the people I have met.
It inspired me to have an interest in another language : Spanish. To help me out a bit, I am currently doing a Spanish lessons.
I am lost in my current career and I need to discover and learn something else.

I am manual, creative, able to take initiatives and see my ideas through to the end. I enjoy learning about any subject and diversifying my knowledge. I think I am resourceful and like to feel useful and be of service.
I repair jewellery, sew clothes, colour and paint. I have made pottery, origami, pinatas, bracelets, cards, puzzles... I have glued window film, assembled furniture and built playmobils. I know how to use a screwdriver, lawnmower, saw and other gardening and DIY tools. I have basic cooking and cleaning skills. I sometimes work as a hairdresser and nurse for my family (removing tics, for example).
I am an animal lover and I am always learning about them. Therefore I can look after them as well as possible and give them the life that a living creature deserves. The animal I know best is the rabbit.
My family and I, had a 5-year-old ram rabbit called Milkshake, who lived semi-liberty in our house and free in our garden. Sadly, he passed away two years ago. He was our family mascot.
When I was 22, I was a Catholic Guides leader where I looked after around twenty children aged between 11 and 14.
Last year I was in Ireland from February to September (see the section "what else").
I tkink I have a sense of humour, I'm open-minded and I like to pass on what I know. I am careful and thanks to my job, I know what is at stake when it comes to safety.

February - March 2024:
Feeding animals (cows, calves, pigs, chickens) and looking after their living quarters.
Walking and taking care of dogs. Tidying, cleaning and gardening, weeding.
April 2024:
Feeding animals (a horse, goats, chickens, dogs, cats) and looking after their living quarters. Taking care of dogs and cats. Cleaning.
May 2024:
I helped taking care of a dog and a flock of sheep. Also I helped taking care four children, entertaining and reading for them. Ranging from ten years to one year old.
Tidying, cleaning and gardening.
June 2024:
I helped taking care of a flock of sheep. Painting planks and some outdoors work.
July - August 2024:
I took care of two children (7 years old and 5 years old), entertaining, reading, cooking for them.
Also I took care of dogs and walked with them.
I helped milking the cows several times.
Sanding, laying tape, painting some windows for the house, fixing a fence.

August-September 2024 :
Market gardening : harvesting beans, potatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, salads, parsley
Preparing vegetables boxes for customers
Preparing beds, seedlings
I helped taking care of a flock of sheep (creating enclosures) and donkeys.
